First day at work
yesterday and he did well, although he was very excited when we got home,
but he wasn’t distressed at all. He got a lot of exercise, playtime,
last night as we were trying to compensate for the lack of play during the
day – I didn’t let him nap more than ½ hour at night (7:30 p.m. to 8
p.m.) and so he went to bed at 10:30 p.m. and didn’t wake up until 5:30
a.m. (I was shocked!). He’s a real smart one as already he knows
“inside” and “outside” and loves his bed. He ventured half way up
the stairs yesterday with Crist ahead of him and me right behind him, but
then he looked behind him and had that “omigod” look and kind of
froze. Crist is, and
I quote, “in love with this little guy”.Thank you for making our
family complete…more later.

| 8/22/06 Gus had a great first visit
to the vet…he was quite the star! Loves his Sherpa bag and just
hung out and wasn’t scared at all. He did love all of the treats!
He’s gaining confidence everyday and I have half a mind to have his AKC
name be “Dell Creek’s It’s All About Me”, as he prances around
with this attitude of “me, me, me, me, me!” Adorable! |
